Happy Halloween!

We had such a great Halloween this year. We got to go to our ward party that was a blast! There were some great costumes there. On Thursday, I went to school with Dave all day and helped with his Spooktacular.

Progressive Flo and Mad Scientist

He had his room set up as Mr. Ghoulmon's Oddity Emporium. It was so great! He had his room filled with black lights, and made it look like there was a ghost skull floating in the back of the classroom telling jokes. They got to feel nasty things in different bowls and had lots of favors that they could purchase. All of the tickets that they used to buy things, Dave was able to cash in for money for his classroom! He made almost $250! We were really proud of it! Carson came to help us that day too.

Mad Scientist, Flo, and Detective

It was super fun to have him there. On Friday, I got to wear my costume to the salon and everyone was dressed up. It was cute to see what everyone was. On Saturday, we hung out at my mom's house and handed out candy. A lot of David's students came trick or treating. They were all so cute!

Hospitals + Halloween= Scary!

Well first I will talk about the good news. Dave and I finally figured out what to be for Halloween! We went to our Single's ward party as Deb and Uncle Rico from Napolean Dynamite. It was really fun. I don't think we have anything else going for Halloween though, so I think our dressing up is already over! It was really fun though!

As for the bad news, my sweet sweet Grandma Hill got an MRI on her brain on Monday because she was in a car accident about 2 months ago and she has been having a lot of memory, and functioning problems. They found 3 cm of blood on the right side of her brain! She had to go into emergency brain surgery. It was SO scary! They had to shave her head and do some pretty intense surgery! She has a long road ahead of her, but she seems to be doing as well as she can in her situation. I am so glad that I am able to live close to the hospital so that I can visit her!

Dave has been having headaches/migraines a lot more often lately. It has been pretty scary. So we took him to the ER last night and he will be getting an MRI tomorrow morning to see what might be wrong! It has been a totally crazy week! Please keep us in your prayers!

Halloween Hair and Make up!!

On Halloween, I will be doing hair and make up for your costume!!! You get both your hair and your make up done for just $10! I will be at Radiance Salon from 3 pm-7 pm.
