Tomorrow is the big day...

It is the 1st DAY OF SCHOOL!
Dave is SO nervous but he will do such a great job! He was going to be a combined 2nd and 3rd grade class, but it got changed a few days ago to a 3rd grade class. He has put so much work into his classroom and I want to take you on a little tour!
Here is a game that he made that he probably won't use til next year, but it is super cool...

This is his awesome treasure chest full of fun prizes!

He loves Diary of a Wimpy Kid and he got this funny poster...

His reading center with a fun rug and his fish tank...

The quote on his Reading Center bulletin board...

The back shelves, and his other fun poster with Einstein riding a bike...

Doesn't Dave look so excited to teach? He really is, he was just being silly...

Another fun bulletin board...

Colorful bulletin board with class procedures listed...

First view from the doorway...

Those are 20 very lucky students in his class! He is going to be the greatest teacher!

TEACHER TEACHER!

Hey Mr. Guymon!
Dave is an OFFICIAL TEACHER!
He got a job yesterday at Rimrock Elementary teaching a mixed 2nd and 3rd grade class! This picture was taken when we first went into his classroom! We are SO excited! He has been working really hard at getting his classroom all set up and ready for 20 very lucky students. It is looking great! I will take more pictures so you can see how fun it is! School starts on August 30th so he has about 2 weeks before students will be there, but he will be pretty busy until then! Thank you for all of your prayers for this job! He got it! Yay!

Miller Family Reunion!

We had a very impromptu Miller Family Reunion last weekend! It was so much fun! The Jake Miller family came from Germany and so other family members came in to visit them! We had so much fun together. We went out to eat, played games, and they went to the lake. We weren't able to go to that though. Sadly, my camera broke a few weeks ago and so I wasn't able to take any pictures! There were a lot of pictures taken there though so I am hoping to get some copies. Dave and I were in charge of the Minute to Win it game. It was so much fun and there were a lot of laughs!

We have had a lot of fun with family this summer. A few weeks ago, we were able to go to Wyoming for Dave's Facrell family reunion. It was a blast to spend time with those families that we don't get to see very often. We are really blessed to have great families.
